The Lord Jesus commissioned His disciples to go and make disciples of all nations in Matthew 28:19. As
His disciples this is every christians commission as well. We are to go and make disciples of our family, friends,
co-workers and community. Being lead by the Spirit of God, we only need have them pray a simple prayer from their hearts
and they will be saved.
There are three key steps to salvation:
REPENT - Ask God for forgiveness of all sins.
CONFESS - Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord.
BELIEVE - Believe Jesus died and rose again for your sins.
That's it!! You can lead a friend to Christ just like that. Here is a simple prayer you can have them say,
or you can say yourself if you are not saved.
"Lord Jesus, you are the Christ, the Son of the Living God. I believe you died for my sins and were raised from
the dead for me. Right now I repent, I turn away from my sins and ask you to come into my heart and be my savior.
I receive salvation now and make you Lord of my life. Satan, I no longer belong to you. I will serve God only.
Thank you Heavenly Father for giving your son for me. I am now saved. I have eternal life. In the name of
Jesus. Amen."
Don't worry if you can not remember this prayer word for word, just remember Repent, Confess, Believe. God
hears every sincere prayer for salvation.
